Large amount of 5c kiwi fruit at Coles Brighton. This is the bay st store, not the one on church street. Not sure if other stores are included.

(kiwifruit are quite high in fiber and are a natural laxative)maybe if they yeat a heap of them, biut 1-2 each shouldnt have any ill effects like that

Are they still fresh? My local store had them 10c each last week but not very fresh, probably due to being kept in the truck for too long.

Big difference between quality of food grown in different soils, and treated with different products.

but there must be a reason why they are this cheap.I have seen this once.
it looks great on the outside and feels firm when you hold it.
but when you cut it open, it is already cooked and mushy in the middle.Maybe that would explain why silverbeet was only 50c a big bunch at Coles Prahran on the weekend.
am i the only one that is thinking to buy a couple of boxes of these and go feed a bunch of homeless people?
