  From what I can see you should run a 5w-30. So I would not be surprised if your manual says a 10w-40 is absolutely okay too. Check your manual if you have one.
  
  Particularly in warmer months and when kms start getting up it can benefitical running a hotter oil like this
  
  There is the 5w-30 I have linked. You may want to consider that.
