Neck Support Pillow - Any Recomendations

I am current using a down pillow from Adairs:

But I am still getting neck pain.

I was advised by doctor to try the down pillow for more neck support, but it is not working.

I usually sleep on my back or on the side.

Anyone can advise a neck support pillow? (with a good deal)

Thanks heaps

  • on ebay there are tonnes of neck support pillows. None as expensive as Adairs pillows.

I also have an Adairs Downtime Memory foam pillow (Medium profile) which is a pretty decent pillow, although it is kind of expensive. I suggest going there to try it out yourself.

  • I had best results with Dunlopillo Classic Latex

I have tried numerous types and makes of pillows due to neck pain. The one that really gives me relief is a contoured memory foam pillow, like this. Even so, I have to swap between different pillows sometimes.

I got mine from Forty Winks, but they are available elsewhere. You can get them in high, medium or low profile. A lower profile pillow will suit back-sleepers more, and higher-profile for side-sleepers. You will have to try to see what suits you best.

Be careful when choosing one. Not so long ago, I saw Woolworths was selling one at a very good price, I think it was something like $16. (My pillow at Forty Winks had a RRP price somewhere near $100, probably very hiked up, and was thrown in free with mattress.)

So I figured at below $20, a bargain. But when I checked it, it was releasing a really foul smell. Which mine never did from the beginning. So, there are different quality of memory foam, a good price/quality compromise has to be struck for best returns.

At the moment, I don't know of any deals, but will keep an eye out, and if I see anything, will post.
