    Good price but lots of reviews suggest buggy-ness and "issues" with audio lag.

    Good price too but mkv files are only supported to 1024x 768p. These days you have 1368 by 720 videos. 16:9 format not 4:3. So I personally wouldn't buy this and nor would I recommend it.
    Buy something which supports what you want and use now and what you will be using in 2 years.

    If you only watch standard definition tv rips on your tv then this will be fine. But 720p is soooo much better, it's hard to watch SD these days.

      Fair point, but the price reflects what your getting id say. for $29 you cannot ask for much more ! They are probebly clearing out these older models for the ones that support the higher reso's

    a $30 player which supports most common formats, including APE, FLAC, RMVB up to 720p, even some SD resulution H.264 MKV files, and also SD card reader, HDMI port. WD mini is selling around $50 and NO H.264, APE support, even NO HDMI port.
