That is odd. Received my 2 Samsung cards today in their retail package. I would write them an e-mail that you were not happy with what you got and they should replace it without you returning yours. Just tell them the card should be in the original retail package as the description says it's new.
I'm a bit wary of ShoppingSquare. I received a 32gb Sandisk card from them yesterday without the retail packaging, in just the plastic enclosure. It's now died today and I'm about to return it. Just a bit of buyer beware since there are so many other deals around on SD cards at the moment.
