Based off my experience with the first gen, these are incredibly well optimised so even without the latest hardware they should perform well.

Yep. Bad value given a 5" Oppo F1 with 3gb/16gb can be had for less at Optus. 4.5" Samsung S5 mini with 1.5gb/16GB is $249 at Aldi, which is significantly better than this deal.

This model is XT1541 single sim with 8GB storage and 1GB ram compared to XT1550 dual sim with 16GB storage and 2GB ram. The XT1541 has also less bands than the local XT1550 version. Would not recommend purchasing it at ~$230 posted.
