Soz TA, but I think it's already posted?

    • Shites, I wonder why it was moved to forums? These are normally $4.49 each. Anyway thanks. Will let the mods know :)

      • Given that it more than one app is not always free according to appshopper, this post is fine as a deal.

Not sure about the other post (will look into it), but it didn't have a specific app, perhaps most of Duck-duck-mooses's apps are usually free.

With all due respect to TA, shouldn't this join the original post, not the other way around?

        • @quarrymaster: Unfortunately we are unable to move forum posts back to deals - a system limitation. Otherwise yes, that would have been the right thing to do.

          @moocher:

If this post stays in deals then credit to OP should be made in the description.

        • @TightBottom: Sure, I can add that.

It was moved because they have all gone free forever.

        EXCITING NEWS!
Duck Duck Moose has joined Khan Academy, a nonprofit with a mission to provide a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. We’d like to thank you for supporting us. Without you, we wouldn't have attained this exciting next stage of growth. Now that we’re part of Khan Academy, all Duck Duck Moose apps are available for free to anyone, anywhere. Download any apps you might be missing, share our news and learn more about getting involved at www.duckduckmoose.com/about.

        • Generally if something is always free, it belongs in the free software forum. However, if it is not always free and has just become free, it's ok as a deal.

I think they will always be free now as they have become part of the not for profit Khan Academy - an awesome organisation.

Yes. Just got an email from Khan Academy confirming it. Pity we can't post about Khan Academy as a bargain since it is always free. I used to pay >$500 monthly for my three kids for Kumon. I switched to using Khan and couldn't be happier. It's a lot better and free.

      • Hi merill what main apps do you use for the kids?

        • +1

I use Khan exclusively for math, their school provides free access to Mathletics where the kids needs to do earn points and get a bronze certificate each week by doing math problems.
In terms of apps we play various games over time. Some of the apps we use are
Math Bingo and their related apps https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/math-bingo/id371338715?mt=8
The GarageBand app is a great one for kids to compose their own tunes.

  • Note that there are iPad specific versions, meaning that you couldn't "Get" those from an iPhone or iPod touch.

From TA's link http://appshopper.com/search?search=Duck+Duck+Moose slide each tile left and tap Buy to make it easier. As quarrymaster mentioned, some are only available for iPad.

    Thanks TA & chadiwrx.
