I posted a solution to Global Climate change a while back, but it was in the forums.

"You get what you pay for" applies with most Kogan branded products.

If you pay rubbish prices, you get rubbish products.

      • I paid $550 for their 55" 1080p TV about a year and a half ago and it's been a pretty good investment so far - never had any issues, so each to their own.

My only complaint is sound quality by default on these TVs is absolutely horrendous, like a speaker in a tin can but I had a Sony soundbar lying around to hook up so I soon forgot how absolute shit the sound quality was. The actual quality of the TVs panels isn't bad (most of them use LG panels), and I use my TV mainly for gaming on the couch.

This is the 1080p one though, not the 4k. I would gauge that the same price for a 4k TV probably has a bit of drawbacks.

  • Kogan, TV's for people who have never bought a branded product in their lives.

Seems a bit weird that it has HDMI 2.0, but is limited to 30fps @ 4K.
    I sincerely hope they mean x 2160, and not x 2016, too!

  • K/Bogan Quality

  • I have this TV for 2 yrs now and I absolutely have no problem with it - Yes, some features are crap, sound quality is crap but thats fine- You get what you pay for… For the money I paid, I am quite happy with it…Dont compare this with a $1500 or $2000 branded TV…

Just a reminder that only certain brands of TV are licensed for 4K content with the inbuilt Netflix app, too, and this is not one of them
