Availability

20 units at this price, free shipping for 24 hours only. Please see item page for full details. Shipping time to your exact location is additional to dispatch date. It is expected that at least 90% of correct addresses will arrive to most locations within Australia Post's estimates. Peak periods may add congestion to the postal system. See www.auspost.com.au for details. Any addresses rejected by Australia Post will incur a charge of $4.90 for redelivery, because the item will have to be received, checked, repacked then posted again. Tracking is available if purchased but may not be added after an order is placed, as changes to coupon-based orders after placement are untenable for logistical reasons. See item page for more information, thank you.

Reviews

Clearly, this is not a game for edge-of-your-seat thrills, it's farming… And some people love it for just that. Read below for full reviews from lots of different users' experiences.

"Scoring a 10/10 on this chart, don't jump into this game with high hopes of a thrilling experience and a gripping story because, well, there really isnt one. I find this game casually appealing and a relaxing during the times of gaming distress. You can plant and harvest, chop trees, and drive tractors during your grind to make money. The game is very time consuming and provided me with hours of dullness but that is what you pay for so know what this game is before jumping into it."

    :^)

  • Which game has been refunded more, this, or No Man's Sky?

    • We haven't had it very long. We usually get items at the last moment, hence the Selling Out Soon theme. Cheers :)

    • I think No Man's Sky has been refunded more than every game combined.

  • Isn't this version almost 2yrs old now?

    • +1

There is a 2017 version coming out at full price. This one will be two years old then, approximately :)

  • Hmm $43 for 2015, or $52 for 2017

    No-brainer really

    • +5

I know right. Save $9 and just get the 2015 copy. Glad we think alike.

      • +2

Or play on PC for $11.99 lol

  • I like the "helpful review" that the OP included.

    "Cons: gameplay, dullness"

    ….lol

    • +2

Nothing like honest. But you're right, some details are better in context with all the reviews. We want to be clear it's not fast-paced. Both brakes and accelerator are useful in a car :) and some games are good as a contrast to always-on adrenaline rushes.

  • any famous farms included?

Didn't you get banned for misleading "deals"?

    • No, there were differences in people's positions regarding RRP, which will not been discussed on this deal because we've not mentioned the RRP. As user supnigs said: "Agree. It's a good deal and you would receive the product. Bought heaps from them previously without any problems." If anyone does encounter any issues, please contact Customer Care and they will help you.

This deal has the same questionable 'saving' as that one did too.

This game was only just recently listed, to the point that there is no Google cache of the site listing, or of the eBay listing.

But you know, advertise at near-on full RRP to then show a bigger than normal discount, as if anyone believes the discount is that great and that they would sell it for more than anyone else. Hell even EB has it listed for $69.95.

Seems I was wrong with my last comment:

      Rep's learning ;)

      Obviously not.

Hmm.. This actually raises another questionable practice. According to that cache page, the "normal" price for this game is $60.94, and at that point on 24 Aug 2016, the price was slashed to $59.45.

However, in this post, you are saying your "everyday" price is $78. That's Misleading advertising, Kogan was in the news earlier this year for similar practice of raising prices before discounting goods.

“It is simply unacceptable for businesses to raise prices before applying a discount in order to give consumers the misleading impression that they are obtaining a larger percentage discount than is actually the case,” ACCC acting chair Dr Michael Schaper said.

          @equavate:

Google Cache is grabbing it at US$

        • +1

@Spackbace: Ah ok, thanks for pointing that out. I'm always a bit more sceptical somehow towards ppl who make this kind of claims.

        • -1

@equavate: spackbase is correct, it is US$, so the prices shown are correct, subject to exchange rate variations.

        • +1

          @sellingoutsoon:

Why do you do this anyway? most other retailers just post the price that they sell the product for like "xxxx for $50".

          Why is there like 8 different prices in your post? I see $59.94, $72.45, $35, $78, $42.98, 39.95, $48.99, and $73.95.

Its so long to read and convert currencies… like you tell me what the game is, tell me how much then I choose buy or not.

I've already been scammed by you guys once when I bought Metal Gear Solid "Day 1" edition lol.

I got into a discussion with a customer service staff who took it personally and asked me personal questions and told me she was suicidal. after holding my game as ransom, some supervisor (Ed) took over and sent me game to me lol.

Also they say they all in Sydney, by some of the correspondence from Hong Kong. Not saying that's bad or good but just stating facts

I heard the guys behind Farming Simulator are following it up with House Painting Simulator for those who prefer a more relaxed gaming experience having found the former too action packed.

    • In Farming Simulator, do you start off with high hopes and petty cash and wind up in so much debt that you suicide?

      • +2

Hopefully, the Simulator allows you to put all your assets in wife's name, then, when things don't work out, declare bankruptcy. This way, only your employees/farm-hands, suppliers and lenders are left in the sh!t hole.

    • hey why is your name "link" but you have a picture of zelda?

      • +1

Right, apparently my choice of language was "too strong" in my original response and classed as a personal attack. Hmmm not really, just a quote from The Simpsons but I accept my punishment and will go sit in the naughty corner.

P.S. The photo is Link. Zelda is the princess. Google it.
