    Good find

  • Yesss. Been waiting for doom on pc to drop in price. We don't have a jb in town so this is good news for me :)

    • Still waiting for it to drop below $20 before I buy.

No idea why you got negged for that, I'll be waiting on that as well. Won't be much longer at this rate.

        • That's right, isn't this site called OzBargain for a reason? We all want to get as best a bargain as possible. For me I like to wait for it to come down to $20, yet some idiot think it is unreasonable. I am guessing we may see the $20 price tag by Christmas.

@edfoo: it's not hard to figure out who done it lol, anyway I agree it will be by Xmas.

@Where's_That_Cake: it wasn't me if that's what your implying. I would wait for it to drop to 20 too but I've played the demo through 6 times now and im hooked. The multiplayer didn't appeal to me though from what i played during the beta so i can see why people want to wait for it cheaper.

@lindendwightt: Nah, not at all. I usually look at who has been adding votes to other replies mate. Other than me there was one other ;)

          @lindendwightt:
I paid $48 for it during EB's last sale and I think it's a great game for the price. I have definitely paid more for games that I didn't even enjoy half as much. I only play single player too. Hopeful does come down to $20 soon. Only been out for 3 months and has been discount pretty heavily already.

        • @Where's_That_Cake: all good mate :) Does anyone know if doom for pc is on disc or just a code? Im currently without net while i wait for a new modem and was gunna pick it up tomorrow if it doesn't require a download.

        • @lindendwightt:
It comes on a disc. You need steam to play though. From memory there was still a pretty hefty download for patches but cant remember exactly how much.

        • @undefined: awesome. Cheers. I have steam running it offline mode at the moment but ill just hotspot off my phone if i need a verification.

Don't waste your money on the disaster that is The Division.

    • Why?

      • Because there are better games to play? That's my guess

From what i've heard it is a grinding game with no end reward. There was an issue with an abundance of hackers at launch, which may or may not be resolved. Just a rather poor game.

        • Is Doom worth playing then? :)

        • @jdreamer: From everything I've heard, Doom is a brilliant game. Multiplayer is sub par, but single player is good fun. Have you played the latest Wolfenstein's? Apparently it plays a lot like that. Quick paced shooter.

        • Doom is pretty damn good, though I have to be honest, I still need to finish it as I got an acute case of shooter fatigue. You really do need to shoot on the go, if you stop and shoot from cover, you're gonna have a bad time with Doom

      • The story mode is good but once you get into end game it has been destroyed by the developers with the updates that penalised new players due to farming by day one players. Then if you bother to go into the dark zone you will be continually ganked.
