  I am reading this series in paperback at the moment.

  It's a bit heavy and slow, but I use it as a sleep inducing "pillow read" every night.

    a lot of these in the series are a bit of a hit and miss.
    the constant story lines get old and repeated.
    Faith of the fallen is probably my favourite in the series, that and wizards first rule of course.

    It gets a bit self involved in the last four books. We get it, Richard good, emperor bad. I still read it to the end though

    haha drats. i just picked up the rest of the series with the 4th/5th books I think I was missing at the local save the children second hand book sale. took me so long to get ahold all the series second hand books.. guess i'll haveto keep an open mind once i start with book 1 that it isn't as boring to me personally.
