    DC45 does not come with the mini motorised head (Worth $60). This deal is still better.

  Get a V6 instead. Way more power and juice in battery.

  Have 2 DC44 and a V6. Not even close in terms of power.

  V6 sucks way way better

  How good do the batteries hold charge after a few years. Can you replace the batteries if they die?

    Not sure about the first part, but the battery on my V6 looks to be removable with the removal of a screw.
