Ocean Spray Craisins Dried Cranberries - Milk Chocolate 100g - $1 @ The Reject Shop, Glendale NSW

110

One day historians will doubt their own research upon discovering cranberries grown in USA/Canada/Chile were coated with chocolate in UK and then purchased in Australia for $1 per 100g pack. But it works for me. These are 59% milk chocolate, best before 10/2016. I bought 5 packs, discovered I like them and returned for another 8 packs. Now stored in the same large container, they won't fight with the Maltesers. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/261046 I have no easy way of checking, but I have no reason to doubt these are in other branches, probably statewide and hopefully nationwide.

  • Saw these at The Reject Shop Altona VIC. They have an expiry sometime in 2017 (forgot which month).

    Didn't buy because the "juice content" was only about 15% or less….
    Basically water and other additives (and 'some' juice).

    • Are you referring to the choc covered craisins or the drink?

    • Wrong product. The packet says "The tangy flavour of Craisins® Dried Cranberries covered in premium milk chocolate!"

    were these really sprayed by the ocean?

    Thanks OP. Will be going to Rejects for more of these, so just nice to get this to try. If you have any more snack recommendations from Rejects, do please post them all :-), so can grab them all at once!

      They also had numerous $1 packets of the Trail Mix version, which didn't interest me because basically they are the usual dried cranberries with added bits of peanuts and cashews. Not a bad snack though.

    Just one bag will give you
    * 27% of daily fat
    * 49% of daily sat fat
    * 64% of daily sugar

    they are about 57% sugar.

    Qantas were doing the 'plain' ones as part of their 'healthy breakfasts' on domestic a while back…

    that said, I'd still eat them.
