Having the state generally makes it easier for people who may be near the suburb but are unfamiliar with it.
I can't say I would recognise all 321 suburb names from Melbourne but many are accessible for me.

EB charge at RRP, so 20% off is still more costly than competitors.
EB Games are almost always a complete rip off and you'd be mad to shop there without price matching which is excluded in this sale.
There was a general 10% off code for OGS earlier today, it had less votes than the deal from OGS with the Elite Controller. Deals are there, you're just to ignorant to see them
It really makes life easy price matching there though, feel bad for everyone else who can't be bothered to quickly google what they are buying and save 30-40% with ease!
Agreed though, you'd be crazy to buy at RRP and 20% of RRP is almost average price elsewhere.
Then skip the deal. You don't have to open it. If my local store had 20% off I'd love to at least know about it. Sometimes they do have decent prices, not always, but ruling them out entirely would be naive in my opinion.

Only thing EB is good for is 7 day game hire.
It's a gold mine for achievement and trophy whores like me. Get and complete an easy game within a week and return it at no charge.
