Is it really $290 normally? I would be ashamed to admit that!

I'm a guy, I splutter when I pay anything over $20.. and when I do pay more I can't tell the difference

$290 for a haircut - people have their priorities in the wrong order

  • this makes details for men free haircut for ladies and men worth 90 look really good :)

cringe when i spend $12 on the haircut.

unless you can assure me that my hair will automatically cut itself every 3 months…. :-(

  • $116 to get something cut off that will only grow back the next month?
No thanks…I'm happy to spend $20 to get that done.

  • You guys are almost blatantly ignorant of the whole post.
Have you even read the damn deal?
"You will receive a 1/2 head of highlights or full head colour, re-hydrating Treatment, Haircut & Blow dry."
Many salons around my place have full hair colouring for $150+, some cheap ones are at $90, but these do not include hair cuts. Not to mention re-hydrating treatments and "thorough consultations" if their words are true.
My friends often dye their hairs for $170 and although I see no point $116 is actually quite a bargain if it is down from $290.

So my point being, don't just conclude that it's $116 for a haircut…it's $116 for a lot of things.

Lots of people are willing to dye their own hair, sure that's their own choice, a $10-$50 dye depending on where you get it from, and then DIY at home or with a friend's help. But this is done by professionals.

    • I don't know enough about the cost of high end hairdressing to neg this deal, otherwise I would have.

You say "$116 is actually quite a bargain if it is down from $290". Our point above is that $290 seems ridiculously overinflated to start with.

If $116 is a good deal in your eyes, vote positive!

(Yes, I did read the 'damn deal', settle down)

    • After reading the post (yes I can read) I did not vote neg as I think it is probably not a bad price. However I am horrified that the poster has the nerve to call this a bargain simply because it is discounted from $290. I could easily get my hair done for $100 without a discount. I know the cost of products that are used as my niece is in the industry and to charge $290 is daylight robbery!

      • Unfortunately being a bad deal isn't a good enough reason to vote negative or I would and probably many other people.

Che just because you believe the bullshit doesn't mean the rest of us will swallow it. Hairdressers are rarely "professional" other than that they actually work as a hairdresser for money and there's certainly no standard to calling themselves one. Re-hydrating? They'll wet your hair or use some bullshit spray that's 99% water and 1% some very cheap chemical.

tbh I don't believe that people are stupid enough to have paid $290 for this in the past and I think it's just a special price so they can say it's such a big discount.

I find it amazing how the cheap-ass, backyard hillbillies that come to this site looking for freebies get so offended whenever certain deals cost over 20 bucks.
This site isn't just for the poor, it's for everyone. Get over it.

We are different people with different values and different needs. Open your minds, people.
If a deal like this doesn't apply to you, then ignore it. Don't be ignorant and arrogant and spit out your useless opinions all over the place.

If you have short hair that needs monthly trimming, no colouring/highlighting whatsoever, don't care about hair treatments, uninterested in a "first class service & treatment" (hence the price) and most importantly, can't afford more than $15 on a haircut, then this deal isn't for you. Big deal. Move on!

Like I did. I have very short hair, I don't colour it and in fact, I cut it myself. But this deal is great for someone who is interested in a first class hairdo and that could never afford the full price.

Seriously, you people sound like you conduct protests outside of fancy french restaurants or something.

    • Get yer hand off it, Daryl
