  • As a guideline, less than 10 quantity of items is not enough for a deal unless the item has a high price.

Would this be considered limited quantity?

Also, it has been cheaper in the past

@1000+ i would classify this item as high price

      • Thanks, always wondered what the threshold would be to consider it high price or not.

I appreciate you're a local business, but I don't see this as a bargain. For instance, you can get the same model GTX 1080 for ~$900 from the US and it has EVGA's international warranty.

Its a good deal if you can return it locally somewhere.

      • My understanding of the EVGA warranty is you can return it to your local service centre. If it's DOA, I've received Amazon replacement orders in 3 days from the US. Personally, I don't see local return being worth $200.

        • You have to return it to Taiwan.

There is a huge advantage to local warranty in how easy it is and many people like it as you can walk in.

But I'm unsure if this deal has it.

        • @samfisher5986: Sure there's a huge advantage to you if you return it, something that almost never happens and to do that you have lost a lot of money.

          [sarcasm]
What a huge advantage compared to paying a lot less and just replacing the item yourself - although you would only pay postage if it's EVGA in this particular situation. Must be great losing all that money!

        • @Diji1:

Actually GPU's fail more often then you think.

When I've returned my GPU's I've been given a loan GPU while it was sent back.

Again.. there are benefits to buying locally.

There is no way in the world that paying a $200 premium is worth it. That is ridiculous.

If you pay that rate of premium for every small purchase you make you have lost a lot of money.

  • 950 Pro is $385 at MSY.

  • +5

But surely it's a bargain if the boxes are SEALED.

  • +1

Where is the bargain in these?

  • +1

Pretty much just advertising isn't it?

  • while it can be appreciated the store rep is trying to grow his business, OzBargains with those prices unfortunately is not the place to post.

People here know their prices and the bargain sweet spots, but for example $690.00 is no bargain, when it can be had for less from a much more establish store.

Good luck OP, maybe in the future you can post real bargains.
