    Just get the Valvoline 5w-40 full synthetic. It's like $4 after cash back if you can still find some though.

    • Wow, Thanks for that. I just made an order $23.95 before cash back and I used casherweards

      haha no I need to check if I can use this in my car

      • Should be fine.

        You can also get the Nulon 5w-30 semi synthetic for $16.

        • Thanks for the help, which one is the best?
          Valvoline 5w-40 full synthetic VS Nulon 5w-30 semi synthetic

          I already made order for the Valvoline but there is time to place another order. ;)

        • @msmhw:

          I've been told full is always better than semi. The 40 means it's just thicker than the 30. While it's always advised to stick to what the manual recommends, it shouldn't matter too much to use the 40 unless you're in extremely cold climate. So I've been told anyway.

          @CVonC:
          Depends what you are after -

          the Valvoline 5w-40 Synthetic has excellent engine wear protection and high sheer strength for extended periods of engine stress. Ideal if you have a high performance engine.

          The Nulon 5w-30 has ILSAC GF-5 certification, meaning it passed fuel saving tests, and will provide better fuel economy compared to the slightly thicker Valvoline oil. It also has a lower phosphorus content, making it better for the catalytic converter and O2 sensor.

        • @vicness:

          Thanks so much for providing more info! I might purchase the nulon as well to see how it compares to the valvoline on my corolla. Ideally being an ozbargainer, full economy is the most important ^^

          @CVonC:
          Don't forget the $16-$3.96 price difference,and fully synthetic is said to have a longer OCI.Nulon needs to be an extra fuel saver to get your $ back

        • @028:

          Yep that's primarily the reason why I went with the valvoline. Couldn't resist with the cash back ^^

      • How did you make it 23.95?

        • use "CSUN20" when you check out

  • if you're in a 2004 camry you might want to use the $20 shell hx7 10w-40 deal.

  • I am interested to get the 5w-30 as well as I am using this.

    I manage to get 2 castrol edge 5W-40 from SCA sale few weeks back as they only allow 2 per person. Got my partner to the shop 30 minutes later and it was all sold out.

    • Nulon 5w-30 semi synthetic is $16 too

  • Awesome, got the valvoline full synthetic.
