TheGoodGuys- How to Use $11 from Price Guarantee off Chromecast

So I got the Chromecast for 33$ from the recent deal by the good guys just to realise the price dropped to $24 since original price went down to $49… so I applied for the price guarantee and got $11 back!! All good…

Now what do I do with the $11 which are due to expire in a month? Or rather … on what can I spend this?

      On what?
Can I return the Chromecast and then buy another with $11 and $25 coupon stacked?

      • I'm sure you can find something. USB drive or something

        • Double adaptors, extension cables etc if you have too many USB/SD cards already

  • Thanks…but being a man with lack of ideas….I was wondering what other ozbargainers did with this and I could do the same:)

  • Ink cartridge?

  • I don't understand your first sentence at all, with the $33 and $24 reference. I'm on the lookout for a Chromecast on sale. I just went to the Good Guys and its $55, so not what I'm looking for. Where did you see it $33 and $24?

    • Using $25 voucher from this deal:
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/259867

      • Cool, thanks, I think I'll go for that and use it for a Chromecast.

    • The question should really be how he got $11 back when it only went down $9.

120% difference return with TGG 30 days price guarantee.

        • Oh, for some reason I thought it was only 110%. So $10.80 back. Not bad.

  • Nice, but how did they give you $11 back when the $25 voucher technically was only to be used on a minimum purchase of $50, considering $49 was the cost they are beating…

Edit: Yep I understand now, never mind :)

  • Cool…but not many have replied..maybe not many got the $11 back?
Do the good guys accept return …or only price protection?

Not many people need to be told how to spend $11, nor have the time to think of ways to scam TGG for a few bucks- if that's what Your last sentence is referring to (which is written poorly tbh). TGG return policy is on their website.

    • People's needs are different.

As above, do you really need telling how to spend $11?

  • How soon did you guys get the $25 voucher after signing up, something like 2 months?

I signed up 30 Aug, got my code today.

  • If you ask nicely they give you cash…
They gave me cash when i asked…

    • When I did my claim, it said that claims under $50, can only receive store credit. Claims over $50 can choose store credit or cash.
