You can pre-order the new Paper Mario for $53.99 at OzGameShop rather than the RRP of $79 (JB Hi-Fi price). Seems like a good deal if you're looking to pick it up for Wii U next month.

  • Target/Big-W usually have really decent Day One prices.

They'll probably do it for $59 at best. I've never seen them go lower than that for a new release. I suppose that might be worth it if you wanted it day one.

  • Don't forget to add shipping, $1.99 I think.

Shipping was free for me, posted to Melbourne :)

      Over $50 is free shipping.

Just watched the video, it looks pretty crappy…

    • Previous home console Paper Mario games have scores of 93 (N64), 87 (GC) and 85 (Wii) on Metacritic. Chances are good that 'pretty crappy' will be a review limited to your own opinion.

The original Paper Mario and Paper Mario Thousand Year Door were amazing. Then it was all downhill from there. They're completely different games now.

  • Cheaper at base.com £27.49 + £1.49 = £28.98 (~51.28 AUD) delivered.

It's £34.48 including postage at Base, which is roughly $60.95. Even if your price were accurate you would still pay more once currency conversion fees were taken into consideration.

      • Base deduct VAT from the price for international orders.

      • Base.com removes the VAT. Also, Quidco was offering 10GBP cashback with base.com for new accounts.

  • Just tested it, worked out to be $56.28 with VAT deducted and currency conversion fees applied. Ozgameshop is still the cheaper option.
