[CLOSED] Melbourne City: Anywhere to buy moon cakes (Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival)?

Thanks everybody :)

I was able to pick up moon cakes in the city while I was there.

I think I ended up with some from Asian Crown grocery and then picked up some frozen ones from Maxim's.

Hi all,

anyone know where I can buy moon cakes in Melbourne?
I'll be in the city on Wednesday and hope there are some left (especially Cashana/Oriental Patisserie)

Thanks in advance

There's an asian supermarket on Russell St on the block between Bourke and Little Bourke Sts.. they sell pretty much everything.

most asian groceries will have them. Theres are least 3 asian groceries that i can think of off my head in chinatown. Heck, even Costco was selling them at one point

  • Costco Ringwood sells them lol. Otherwise, Springvale, Box Hill are sure to have some.

  • We spent $32/box and $56/box today and my parents said they should be around $18/box. Now I feel like I've betrayed OzBargain. OP make sure you don't make the same mistake T.T

  • Breadtop makes them. Not sure of the prices though, got them as gifts. Not just the traditional ones, but those mini ones with soft skins. Made in Australia.
