Pokemon Go Plus - $52.11 Delivered @ Nintendo AU/NZ eBay Store

It's not as cheap as it was for pickup at EB Games, but as EB Games is completely sold out, this is your only option.

It DOES track your steps when Pokemon Go is in the background/your phone is locked (source). Therefore, you CAN hatch eggs and earn candy from your buddy Pokemon while your phone is locked.

    • LOL

  • Curious to see if it's gonna sell!

  • so how does Ninantic track the km? Through GPS or step? Because i did some repeated movements over short distance and didn't get much km so it must have relied on GPS.

    • +1

Distance is calculated by GPS, but not the distance you walked.
      How it works:
      1) The app checks your position.
      2) After an unknown amount of time, the app checks your position again.
      3) The "KM" is determined by how far your position has changed from (1) to (2).

Therefore, walking in circle, or up-and-down your street, will probably not give you much "KM".
You need to walk continuously in a straight line to get maximum "KM".

  • Tempting.

Hey guys, so the weirdest thing just happened. I bought the Po Go Plus this morning using my dad's eBay account, as my account is a store account. Literally a few minutes ago, I left them positive feedback for laughs. My dad just called me, and asked if I'd bought something from Nintendo. They somehow got my dad's work number, and a whole bunch of people thanked him over the phone for the positive feedback. I am so confused right now.

    • Ahahaha, I saw the 'First' feedback, nicely done :)

      • I just saw this, crying :D

    • looking at Nintendo's ebay feedback:

      1 Feedback received

      Feedback From Buyer/price When
      First. h***i During past month

      that's pretty poor effort :p

    • lol wtf!

  • Curious - how long will the battery in the Go Plus last?

    • +1

The leaflet I got in my one says approximately 100 days (but mine kept buzzing like there was no tomorrow so I expect less days than this estimate)

      • 100 days is a lot, and the device would be on at all times! How much are the batteries to replace?

        • It turns off automatically when it's not connected to your phone. It's one of those CR 2032 or something like that batteries; only a few bucks to replace.

  • Ok who was the idiot who left a feedback for Nintendo's eBay account :)

Read my comment (the last comment) on the previous page, lol.

  • Will this work with my tamagotchi?

  • Can't believe there's 3k purchased and yet only 6 feedbacks

  • Delivered this morning after ordering Friday morning. Super fast delivery :D

  • ordered mine friday afternoon, dispatched saturday morning but Aust post tracking shows no activity yet..

    • Mine was stated as a Friday dispatch and still not seen in Brisbane. Aus post tracking has no movement. Anyone else got theirs?

      • I'm guessing a lot of people have got theirs (at least 70 or so people, judging by the comments). I ordered when it was around 30 sold, and have still yet to receive mine (Adelaide). I'm expecting it to come tomorrow though!

        • Interestingly, if the item description in ebay was to be trusted and that the item was sent from Melbourne, my parcel is now in Chullora NSW en route to Brisbane.

  • The ebay listing has just sold out @ 4300 units damn i thought they were going to go the full 5000 allocated but decided to end it early.

I got mine on Monday im a happy GOer.

    • Decided to get one today and was literally in the middle of checking out when they went out of stock.

Are they replenishing them every day or so?
