Cygnett Aeroshield Case for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and S7 - Grey & Clear - $15 at The Good Guys Store and eBay - Normally $24.95

70

I was looking locally for a slim case to protect my new S7 Edge and found these on the Good Guys web site. They are also available on their eBay page, but not on their current 15% off deal. I bought a grey one and it's nice and thin, reasonably rigid and doesn't detract from the phones original good looks. I bought one of the matching screen protectors as well, but don't waste your money on it. It will do for now, but the left edge does not stick down properly and lets air and potentially lint and dust under it.

First review of the Grey case

Expensive, and loose when you put your s7 edge in. Feels like the phone will come out from the rubber case anytime.
    Doesn't worth the money.

You can get these for $1 off eBay, no need to waste the extra $14 if you have the patience to wait ~15 days for shipping.

I had one of those (ordered before I got the phone), but it's pretty crap by comparison. I didn't want to wait two plus weeks for a better replacement and not have my phone in something. This case is a lot stiffer and while the sides do feel slightly loose, the top and bottom is held fairly snugly. The thing I like about it is it is nice and thin.

  • is it soft or hard ?

    • It's hard and stiff on the back with softer, impact absorbing corners. I hope we're still talking about the case.

Can only recommend this one. Very happy with it. Half the price and looks quite similar to this one?

    • Looks nice. I'm probably going to end up with 5 different cases. :)

Just received this case and unfortunately I don't think it's as good, despite the price. It doesn't have a ridge to protect the face of the phone. So far, the best case I have is the Spigen Hybrid, but it did cost more.

        • Cheers for the comparison. Still very happy with it but haven't had any comparison. What do you mean with ridge? Wouldn't that impact on the usability?

@dynamike: The Spigen and the Cygnett have a ridge at the top and bottom that keep the face of the phone from touching a surface when it's upside down. The sides are easily accessible.
