    • aaand they're gone

  • Only 2 units sold?

  • It is on again?

  • Is this the model that has all available bands for Australia?

    • I checked willmyphonework.net and yes, according to the website.

  • yes it is.

    thanks scored one.

  • more stock now

  • Awesome. Scored one too!

  • Thank you! Scored a silver. Now time to sell the S6…

  • Got mine this morning.
    Pretty fast shipping.

All the way from HK in under 2 days.

    • Seals intact.
Looks to be Middle East intended stock, by the Arabic language prints all over.

How do i detect dead pixels? (via software)
i guess our eye may not detect unless they are big enough, too many clustered around in same spot.

      • Already received it? I placed the order on Wednesday, and yet to hear anything.

For dead pixels, if your eyes can't detect them, why do you even care about them? Besides, I highly doubt an eBay online store would do anything about them even you did spot a few on your screen.

      • Bugger I forgot to look for AU plug on the listing before I bought it. Is the charger AU plug? I hate using adapters.

        • No. Its UK/UAE type.
An AU adapter is supplied though.

  • Wait for new phone

I just received the phone. The original seal on the box was torn off, and replaced by another seal.

    • My original seal was torn off as well. Replaced with a smaller seal. Box could be looking better.

This means the phones have been tampered with or are refurbished units. For what reason do they need to take the seal off?

Spoke to Samsung who have advised to send the unit back. Seals should be long rectangular ones for brand new phones.

      • I agree there is no reason that they need to replace the original seal (to pretend it's intact).

Sent a message to DWI eBay in the morning and yet to receive a response. It's interesting to hear what DWI has to say about the tempered seals.

        • Yet to hear any response. Unfortunately it seems these may be previous returns or refurbished units. In my case, info says phone isn't fake however a call count of 2 indicates previous use.

Have you had issues with your handset? So annoying, a refurbished handset is still cheaper than the amount we paid on ebay. Not only that, returns will come with inherent defects. They may have fixed it but are still more prone to being problematic.

Wonder why they were returned? A question which doesn't assure me this phone will last very long.

        • @xlimit:

How did you find call count? Using some app?

Still haven't heard from DWI in two days, probably would have to go to eBay/Paypal after all.

I just notice there are at least two (possibly three) previous seals that have been torn off, indicating it may have been returned for multiple times…

      • Can you please share the contact details of samsung care that you spoke to and how to find if it is a fake or not

        • Called up Samsung AU and they confirmed my mobile is original with the IMEI & Serial number combination.
They went on to confirm it was manufactured on 1st Aug 2016

But couldnt help to identify if that was a refurbished/brand new phone

    • My original seal was also torn off and replaced.

Looks like a common issue. :/

  • How does an original seal look like in the first place?

how to find the Call count? (may not be much use now, as i have already made some calls with it). Still wanted to know, just in case.
