I think even with an overclock this one shoots a little closer to the 1070 than the 1080.
The 10 series was suprisingly powerful in comparison to the previous generation.
There's a good reason why these fell in price ~600 dollars with the new cards being released.

That being said, at this price the 980ti is much more worthwhile from a value perspective.

If only there was a gigabyte for this price.. I'd definitely SLi.
I sold my 980ti and bought the 1070 and they are nearly identical in term of performance when both are overclocked. The only noticeable different is the temperature. My old 980ti can easily skyrocket to 80-85c while the 1070 stays cool at 70c.

Very tempting at this price, even if it is previous gen. Little bit of an overclock and you're getting close to 1080 performance.
