Need super cheap piece of carpet / rug

Hey guys,

where would i find a piece of rug or carpet, around 3x3 metres , it's only purpose would be to go on top of an existing rug to protect it from office chairs.
Couldn't find anything cheap enough at the hardware store or shops.

    You could try Gumtree, or go to a carpet shop and see if they have any off cuts they want to sell you cheaply. Carpet shop as in one that fits out new houses etc, not a "rug shop" that is always having a closing down sale.

      They may find a 'Fuk Kari' rug cheap to meet their needs!

    I think you should go to a carpet place, not carpet court but a local place that sells offcuts as they have rolls of perfect offcuts that arent big enough for a house but are great for one room or larger sizes. Usually you can buy a 3m x 3m of a high quality carpet for under $100…
