        Air Video HD. It still converts it, but it's done in real time.

          That is complicated and inefficient. Also means you have to have a TRS running on your server.

          Might as well just use Plex.

          yeah what are the file extensions and res and what device are you playing on
          you should download the program and test mkv on it
          avplayer hd works well with mkv but try this free app first
