So bought this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/259113, thinking I still have until 30th of Sept to redeem my vouchers.
But IMAX Sydney closed on 25th to renovate (they will open again in 2019 ). So vouchers are no longer valid ? What rights do I have in this situation? Can I have a refund from Groupon or IMAX ?

Btw, cannot go to IMAX for at least 3 years, which sucks :( and not sure if the new IMAX is affordable

Wondering how GroupOn works if it has take the risks of merchants going bankcrupt ? By charging high margin in the 1st place?
NOOOO this is awful. At least this explain why I haven't seen their cinema on Groupon for awhile

Yes , contact them and let them know that you specifically only bought it for that location. I bought a voucher from Scoopon (should be similar process with Groupon i would think) for 6 teeth whitening treatments as it was 5 mins from my home. 4th treatment in, they shut up shop without any notice (which pissed me off as i only made an appointment with them 1 week before shut) and all their other locations were 30mins + drive away, so i emailed scoopon and they pro-rated and sent me back the balance in Paypal. Quite satisfied with their service :)

If the merchant has closed down, please let us know by clicking 'I still need help'.
