27" WQHD (2560 x 1440)
144Hz Gaming Monitor

Close to its cheapest ever price. I'd personally prefer the XB271HU for the slim bezels, still a very good monitor.

Will it give me the winning edge? I must avoid tea bagging at all costs.

  • someone is selling three of these at half the price on OCAU

    • Anyway to link it or get in touch with the seller?

Never had an OCAU account before, and just checking now it's inaccessible to users <3months

      • Only post there that seems close to furythree's description is someone selling three XB270H for $1400 total.

    • check again, those on OCAU are not the HU model, they are the H model which is the TN panel, not the IPS panel.

      ONly FHD 1920 x 1080p.

When something seems too good to be true, it usually is.

  • Tempted to get one but, the panel lottery with these makes it hard to press they buy buttom

    • You're right, for that money you want absolute perfection, but seems many report too much back bleed on these monitor. I've seen some pics of this and the bleed is bad!!!

      • Photos typically look more serious than the bleed appears to the naked eye, but you are right, it is a concern.

  • So where does one go to see a 144hz screen in action before buying? Any shops have demos in Sydney?

    • Just ring up a few electronic stores.
They had this exact model at Harvey Norman Moore Park not long ago when I was there.

      • The thing is though, are they rigged up to a gaming pc? It would be great to play something on it to see what all the hype is about.

        • Yeah, I was actually surprised that they have a "Gaming" section and had a few liquid cooled OC'd pc's. Not sure about specs though, might be worth giving them a call.

  • I want this monitor scared about backlight bleed. Trying to see if they will accept refund on bad backlight bleed.

    • If you hear back from them, let me know.

  • Looks like they will accept bad backlight bleeding. I think I'll go for it.

    • Did they give a time period? ie. 7 days or 14 days

Purchase has been made thanks. I'll let you know what happens with quality.

  • Had a call from wireless1 and was told they over sold and cannot proceed with the order. Not happy waiting for the next 1440 144hz monitor deal.

    • Thanks for the info, I've expired the deal.
