$340 dearer than last time. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/263526

    • +1

I thought it was $100 dearer? (As the $100 cashback is not offered).

      • $100, plus $10 p. month for 24 months.

        • Both deals are $70 per month. Where did you get the $10 difference?

        • +6

          @crazynic:
Apparently I'm having blackouts. I thought it said $80 when I clicked through. Time to ring for the nurse and get more meds.

nice deal for S7EDGE with part of Telstra signal.

    • +2

Actually you get all of the signal in part of the network. Just sayin'.

      • +1

I looked into it once, I couldn't quite figure out if you get full telstra coverage. I live in perth and in the regional areas of WA Optus (who I'm with via Vaya) is hopeless. Do you know where i can find out the coverage?

        • +2

Look at Aldi, same coverage as Woollies, Telstra wholesale network.

        • @Gershom: Or Boost perhaps?

        • @Tiggrrrrr:
Boost offers access to the full Telstra network unlike the re-sellers who access the Telstra wholesale network, which doesn't include some rural parts of the Telstra network.

        • +1

@zappy32: Sorry, I was trying to suggest that the poster use Boost. Due to the coverage in North West WA.

i need the Medium Plan, i hope they bring back the $58 deal

  • +2

Only $10 international call included? Well that is a deal breaker for me..

    • +1

There are alternatives though, whatsapp, viber, line offer voice chat services for free which you can use the 8GB for.

    • +1

Currently it's $200 for international calls but from October 19th, unlimited calls to certain countries and $100 for others.

      • wws $70 plan?

      • U sure??? Their website says $10 international call. May I please have a link to your statement?

        • Sorry my mistake.. I was looking at the prepaid plans.

Just got this phone as part of another Ozbargain deal ($680 grey import). What a marvelous phone.

    Free IED for the masses

    Collateral damage included as sweetener

For those who might have wanted to upgrade from the earlier $60 per month plan roughly a few weeks back. I just spoke with a representative from Woolworths Mobile.

They do not transfer existing customers between plans.

    • +1

I tried that too. I got "Our system doesn't let us do that I'm sorry"

Translated to " we would rather you buy 5gb extra per month at $10 per gig sucker"

  • -5

    Is this an explosive deal?

    • +1

      Died out.

  • +3

Killer with some of these plans are the termination clauses:

ETC payable = $70 x the number of unpaid months remaining in the Minimum Term

So no just paying the handset off if you ever want to change plans :(

    • Only thing that's stopping me too. If it was like Optus('just pay out the remaining phone amount') I'd have signed up for it already.

  • This deal is lit!

  • The phone works out to be $720 over 12 months (the 8gb plan is $40 pm). If they can do it for $65 pm with $100 woolies cash then I would jump on it as phone would work out to be $500 ($25 x 24 - $100).

  • I was looking at buying this outright grey import going by the reasonable prices. would be interested in a contract if prices got a bit less data is great but dont give a monkeys about unlimited calls and texts.. I dont text anybody these days all whatsapp , most of my friends and family dont either…. moving from a note 4…. note 7 too expensive and explosive.

Sorry a bit of a Samsung noob, does anyone know if this model Woolworth sell the dual sim version? Just searched up S7 edge and found there was like a single and dual sim version.

    thanks!

    • I wouldnt think so more grey imports and asian variants get dual sims…I've not seen them with contract phones

G935 (USA); G935F (Global); G935FD (Southeast Asia) I believe these are the dual sim model codes

      • +1

thanks champ, just realise they would not work in Australia anyways this December 2016 as 2G will be turned off.

        • I read on another post the second sim works with 3G now

  • Hows the actual battery life on these things? Can you get 2 days usage easily?

    • I get a day at most. But i'm a pretty heavy user. I'm happy with the battery life compared to my S6 edge and S5 before.
