    Now with REAL warning stickers!
Call the number on the stickers? "The number you have called is not in service".

      Hi Chris,

Can you please confirm the number you are dialling is 1300 658 212? We haven't had any issues with calls coming through today so i am unsure why you are getting this message.

      Thanks,
      Jessica

thats kind of a giveaway lol ,,like people installing cctv then advertising it all over the outside of there house, then the robbers just cover there face,,,i have cameras, there hidden and no advertising saying there are cameras,,more chance of catching the pricks that way

      • Where are they hidden?

      • +2

You used 'there' right only once in that sentence…

  • awesome, good thing this is'nt on the net so burglars can tell these are fake,,,oh wait

    • Tell me how the burglars are going to know if it's real or fake on the side of your house?

Does your site not have https? I feel a bit uncomfortable linking my address to something that confirms I have no security alarm. Am I just being paranoid?

    • Hi Donga,

Sorry to hear this. We certainly do not provide your details to any 3rd parties apart from the information needed to post a purchase to you. If you would prefer we can post your order to a PO Box or to an alternative location such as your workplace.

      Kind Regards,
      Jessica

The point is unless your website uses https (the s means secure/encrypted) it means its possible for other people on the internet to read whatever information we entering into your website (e.g. your details, address, etc).

Its like your bank sending you a credit card statement on the back of a postcard instead of inside a envelope.

So people are saying is that a security company should be using a secure website. Well everyone should be using https.

Tell your IT guys to get your website converted to https and them come back.

This bunch doesn't know much about securing a site, especially one that takes payments.

      • Payments are secured through PayPal Checkout, we receive no payment card information. Thanks for your feedback.

        Kind Regards,

I managed to enter a 20 digit mobile numbe, along with other crappy data. Your site accepted everything without doing even a basic validation.

          @ms:

I managed to enter a 20 digit mobile numbe,

I was logged into their site and your number appeared on my browser.. WT !!!!

Its far from professional, for a company selling security products to not even secure their own site. And given the cost of EV SSL Certificates these days, not to mention lets encrypt its not really excusable. Get it sorted out!

      Thanks for your feedback.

  • So these stickers will stop APEX gang members from breaking into your house?

  • I hope burglars don't visit OZBargain.

I grabbed this kit for my inlaws when they last had the deal.
Delivery was quick and packaged well and the inlaws have had about half a dozen people (that they know) in town, say that they noticed the new security system and wanted to know how much it cost and how good it was.
They've told them that it was installed by a relative while here for a visit and they are not sure when he'll be back for another holiday.
So I guess some people do notice it and think it's part of a real system.

Also credit to Jessica for being professional with her attitude this time and the previous time.

    • Hi Rattle,

Thanks for your kind feedback. Have a good weekend!

  • Good deal. Been looking for a while and this is a good price with free postage.

A lot cheaper than Jaycar for a similar product.
