While it still 2.75% for Savings Maximiser on their website, it says 2.6% (1.6% standard + 1% additional) on my account. Perhaps this change happened when they got rid of the 2% cashback. Can anyone confirm?

Looks to be an error - ING's post on a comment thread on their FB page:
"I'm really sorry about this, Ce-Yi. I can confirm this is an error on our end. If you visit our website home page and click on the 'Savings' heading, scroll down to our Savings Maximiser, the correct interest rates are listed here. The change has been made overnight to the standard variable rate which is now, 1.60%p.a. and when eligible the higher interest variable rate of 2.75%p.a. remains the unchanged. Our IT team are working on having this rectified; you'll soon be able to see the correct interest rate reflected though your online banking and we'll also ensure interest is calculated correctly. Let us know if you have further questions."Sure get a lot of people concerned! Discussion on the other thread too. Glad it is just an error :-)
