  • We switched to 5 Eco-Drive 100m after spending $20 for a battery change years ago. True OZB spirit.
They're very good even go to beach and swimming with them on. Never pay for batteries again every 1-2 years. Them paid them selves now.
However, these 6 of the Best Citizen Eco-Drives $109 more like 6 of the least popular ones…

true cheapskates but those cheapo Casios sub $50 units with 10yr batteries

brainless twits buy Omegas like me… I do like the look of the Citizen in the site masthead… Citizen Altichron… but they are $600 plus…

These guys are super sharp on pricing.

Waiting for a deal on this:

    http://www.starbuy.com.au/citizen-stainless-steel-blue-satel…

Low low $700's, won't be able to resist…

Really want a titanium with the F150 movement/drive in it, like this JDM edition:

    http://citizen.jp/product/attesa/lineup/detail/index.html?se…

    • I'm looking for the new satellite wave watches, and this one caught my eye but the price !!!
      http://www.citizenwatches.com.au/technology/satellite-timeke…
If its $2000+ I might jump all over it… Of course "she who must be obeyed" will have to be convinced…

      • Would love one of those too!

Beautiful piece, a tour-de-force in watch making and performance, accurate time to 100%, only Japan can make a watch like this, and in this class, Citizen rule the [air] waves :-)

Great price currently on the S/Steel but my heart is set on a Titanium.

Keep checking on Starbuy website for run out sales, you never know,,,,,,,

        • I'm a big fan of titanium, went SS for a while but the weight is significant. And the new(ish) super-titanium used by Citizen is quite scratch resistant, my 3 year old watch only has minimal scratches, compared to my old Seiko one.

        • @Pesty:
          Agreed. Much lighter.

I bought one of these four years ago and it is still going strong. Never had any issues and battery seems as good as ever.

  • Really want an Eco Drive. What about putting a ladies watch on special eh? :) (shame most ladies watches don't have a date, or glow-in-the-dark hands, without getting restrictively chunky)

    • You can buy from overseas site or on eBay. It was good back in the days AUD was high. But you can find what you're looking for. I bought two ladies ecodrive with all you need and more

    • I bought this one

      http://www.citizenwatch.com/eco-sig/watches/watch-detail/?mo…

from Amazon US ($125 USD) when the AUD was high 5 years ago. 100m WR, glow in the dark hands, date in English and Spanish and it's very small and thin (my wrists are tiny and of the 7 removable links on the strap I only needed to remove 4). The glass has scratched quite a bit but I don't take it off ever so that's my fault.

  • I'll bite on a gps solar for less than $1k.

    One can dream.
