Logitech Wireless F710 Gamepad $59 @ TheGoodGuys ($34 with $25 Voucher)

40

While browsing their site looking for something cheap so I can use the $25 voucher that I received from them, I found this offer that I think is pretty decent price. So if anyone still have their voucher to use it will be $59 - $25 = $34 which makes it pretty much the cheapest for the gamepad. Hope someone find this useful.

  • I liked mine when it actually did work, now fighting with Logitech to get a new receiver as mine died after 6 months, brought it in the Dickies fire sale. Also for Windows 10 users there is sometimes an issue with drivers, just use the XBOX ones. For those using the unifying USB these don't work with it if you have problems with your receiver.

  • I've received my 6th newsletter but no vouchers to be seen….

    • Got mine 4 days after received their 2nd digital catalogue.

  • Terrible for diagonals with dpad
Also does experience some lag which is not suitable for quick pvp shooting games or fighting games

  • Not sure about this one but I have the wired version and it has been 6 years though it is still working very well.

Good price - esp with the voucher … but for everyone else - just use console controllers. Having to swap between ps4 / xbox 360 / xbox one means this one just sits collecting dust :(

  • How much are they usually?

I much prefer an xbox 360 style controller as the F710 becomes quite uncomfortable to hold for me after a relatively short period of time. (owned for several years, spare controller, light usage) If you look at a side view the grips kind point down quite sharply which I think is the core reason for this. Also, the L/R1/2 buttons and triggers can stick in, plastic on plastic and the thumb sticks whilst functional sometimes feel dead in some directions. Therefore I cannot recommend one of these.

Picked one up for $19 during the DSE fire sale. Does the job but has nothing on my xbox one controller

This is my 2nd player controller….we all know what that means!

Before purchasing this controller please have a look at the multiple complaints users have had with frequent connection drops.

  • I am still trying to choose something decent to buy

  • How does a $25 voucher that can be used on any item (@TGG) make this particular item a bargain? It's not specific to this item right? If I find $25 on the street it won't make this a bargain either (but I'll be happy nonetheless). Logic escapes me… /rant over/

    • The voucher doesn't make it a bargain - the OP considers it is a bargain anyway (even without the $25 discount).

  • I would get the Steam controller instead I'd thus. It is AU$60 posted from amazon at the moment.

  • i don't have a $25 voucher

    • +2

Neither do I. But I didn't waste everyone's time whining about it.

      • I had to look at the deal, then i realised my time was wasted.

  • Does anyone have a spare good guys $25 voucher they don't intend on using? Pm me, thanks :)
