I bought the TV around Xmas last year. It's been working just fine.
However, whenever the TV wakes up from sleep mode it will not accept Google Cast connections. When I click the cast button on my phone it still shows 65X8500C as a device but if you choose it it would just time out without connecting. I have tried a lot of things like upgrading the Cast Receiver, switching between LAN and wifi but none of them worked. The only solution I found is to enable 'Remote Start' but that keeps the Android OS from sleeping and drains 20W constantly ($45/year).
The other problem is even weirder. Sometimes when I launch SPMC/Kodi my screen gets masked by some yellowish tint. It will not go away until I restart the system.
My last resort is factory resetting the TV but I honestly doubt that would help.
Have you guys experienced any of the issues?
Any ideas are welcome.
