  • Well, don't have to worry about waiting for an XB1 app then!

  • So if you have free presto, you now get free foxtel play for a year? Weren't there free 12 months of Presto kicking around before?

    • from what i have seen on tech sites if you have free access currently that carries over past the end date, you will be offered the choice of 1 $10 tier for free for the remaining time.

      • fantastic. Links to free Presto?

  • Gosh that's sucks. I was happy with the constant free codes I got from here

Don't think I ever paid for Presto, thanks to all the 6 month codes floating around here.

    • Don't think anybody ever paid for Presto, thanks to all the 2, 3, 6 & 12 month codes floating around everywhere.

      Fixed! :)

Their offer was pretty lame compared to Stan and Netflix, to the point i didn't even bother using newer free codes.
Still, a shame to see some competition disappearing, it would be better to see them improve. Hopefully the Foxtel play service will keep competition in the market.

    • I also don't like to see competition disappear, but I think it's overstating it to say that Presto was ever real competition to Stan or Netflix.

      • The sad part is that they were actually getting better…just a classic case of too little, too late I'm afraid.

  • Presto and Foxtel Play subscribers will have exclusive Australian access to two new Home and Away specials to be released this summer.
    SO they are targeting teenagers?

When a product isn't worth using with free codes - they have issues.

  • No loss.

Disappointing i love the free codes and currently enjoying "The Newsroom"

Is it possible that….Presto got Ozbargained? With us racking up the codes, did it get too hard for them to handle? Damn

They wish, OzB would have been the least of their problems…

  • They lost me at launch. I cancelled within the first of three months it wasn't even worth keeping an account for. No HD. My phone wasn't compatible. They tried to limit the number of devices you could use (rather than the number of simultaneous streams). I just never bothered trying it again once they improved the service.

between Netflix (which I mostly watch their exclusives) and Hulu I'm fairly set.
