Braun Multiquick 5 750W Hand Blender $118 @ The Good Guys

70

Approx $179 to $152 elsewhere

Went in to buy this last Monday, was $179 in store but $118 on their eBay site. They wouldn't price match their own eBay site, so I left.
Checked for a cheaper option today and noticed the price drop. Too good to pass if you need another multi-purpose kitchen appliance.

  • anyone own one and have any review of how it goes? is there anything better?

    • We have 2 (long story) well built, good value for money, our stick blender comes real handy when you ant to blend hot food.

      • ah great. I noticed online either they lasted 12 years or 1 year. I might give it a shot and see how it goes.

    • I've still got one that's about 15 years old. Still works fine, but I replaced it with the Multiquick 7 last year. I specifically wanted to stay with Braun for the durability.

  • I have the lower model, can't remember exactly the code and it is a great tool. I assume this is even better and cheaper than what I paid mine.

  • General note, looks like they sell it on ebay for $79.

OP's post is only a deal if you have 2x valid $25 newsletter promo codes. (I'm unsure if you can stack or not)

    • That's a slightly different model to the OP's MQ5037WH versus MQ5077 which looks to have a bigger blender bowl part that you can feed stuff into for slicing/grating.

    • It's not the same model. The one on eBay is the MQ5037 whilst the one OP linked to is MQ5077.

The stick blender is exactly the same except the MQ5077 comes with a bigger and better food processor attachment compared to the MQ5037.

      • my apologies guys. missed that small detail

  • Got this exact one for 79 minus the 25 voucher. You're looking a tad too late, it was 79 dollars for the first 3 weeks of September. It's also gone to the price a few months ago. Might be better to wait.

Blender is very good, it replaced an old kenwood, the quality doesn't feel as solid as the kenwood

  • So I need to wait 2 months before buying it after signing up?

    • if you want the $25 code, yes. I signed up 2 months ago hoping I would see something I like soon.

  • Really good deal for a great stick blender, David Jones has it for $152 on sale.
