        Interesting? I found this link which discusses them both https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/191561, however my account seems to seamlessly work between them both - did they start doing this recently?
        I jump on the constant audible offers that Groupon gets, so i get the subscription for dirt cheap anyway, eg: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/265540

          Don't do it, the migrate borked the wife's audible account, we're waiting on Amazon to get back to us by email with a solution (of course online chat had to fall over today as well).

          As noted, do yourself a favour & just stick with the US version. This worked perfectly for me with a US Amazon + US Audible account.

          @syousef: Interestingly, we got a reply from Audible:

          At this time, Kindle Keyboard is not compatible with Audible Australia. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. We are continuously evaluating opportunities to expand the Audible platform and we are excited to bring additional devices into the Audible fold in the future.

          Changed back to US + US on wifey's Kindle, et voila, working! :/

          OK, I can understand them not mirroring the content, but giving Aussies less functionality on the site is just piss poor IMHO…

          Yeah I've seen and heard enough that I never plan to actually buy a book from these people. Give me mp3, not some weird DRM guardian download app that is suppose to then produce mp3 from the "real" source. Sod that.

      Yes, it used my wife's freebie when I foolishly grabbed this first; so get your freebie first, then this one.
