For US marketplace only. If you have an AUS account, you can still take advantage of the offer but to access the audiobook, you will have to log out of your account in the Audible app and log in again but at the US marketplace instead of AUS. Thanks to yupyup for the reminder.
Nice. I in general hate audio dramas (I prefer they have a narrator explain stuff where necessary as opposed to making the person speaking conversationally saying idiotic things OUT LOUD like "Oh look the alien is walking into the air shaft now… They are turning around. What should I do?", rather than a narrator interjecting where necessary), but I did have the unabridged recording of that book on my wishlist, and was wondering if I'd but it, based on the reviews.

After logging in with my Amazon account, clicked on the link provided by OP (which takes you to the .com rather than .com.au)
clicked on the adverts which puts it in your trolley and then checked out. Before the checkout it asks for address verification.
However, an Aussie address was accepted and successfully purchased it for free. Thanks.

Thanks! My main amazon account is aligned to US, but book didn't appear after i bought, so I needed to log out of my account in audible app as it was assigned to .com.au marketplace, change to .com (US), and log back in, then it was there :) sharing in case its relevant for others

Have listened this right through already, starts off great…wont spoil it for the rest of you though! Interesting way of telling a story, this is done as if it is a radio play rather than somebody reading you a story. As a big Audiobook fan this was certainly an original way of delivering the story.
Switched app to US store and logged in but not showing for free, and trying website keeps switching me to .au store :(

Found it. Used the US account and downloaded Audible Manager. Can now play.
Got it thanks. Wouldn't work a couple of hours ago, basket kept coming up empty.
Thought it may have been because I cancelled my membership last month.
Worked fine now without having to renew.
