Mitsubishi Floor Standing Air Conditioning

Hi all,

I'm trying desperately to find a decent price on a floor mounted/console air conditioner. In particular the Mitsubishi MFZ-KJ50 VE-A1. Best I can find is $2045 for a complete system, which is pretty pricey.

There's unfortunately no way to mount a standard air conditioner in the room, unfortunately, so looking for a reasonably affordable option in this style. At least we already have a decent (and inexpensive) installation guy sorted out, it'd just be nice to find a decently priced unit.

Any suggestions welcome! Of course, it may not be possible, but I've seen a few Ozbargain miracles… Thanks so much.

    Not popular, usually not stocked in stores and would be a special order.

    Solid ceiling?

      Yep, the price isn't really that shocking, just a little painful when standard units are so cheap.

      As for the ceiling… It's actually my parents' house, not mine. I am 99% sure the ceiling/ducted isn't viable.

    Window unit would be cheaper.

    Go the MHI instead of Mitsubishi. Same website. 5kw $1790 or 3.5kw $1595. Better brand and cheaper.
