If money permits, it's worth investing in Corelle (also available from Big W) with the triple layered Vitrelle glass. So easy to wipe clean and feels really light. No crazing or scratches in the glaze like normal plates either.

      • Thanks a lot for the tip! Was thinking this set looked a bit cheap

You could have a look at the OFTAST series from Ikea. They're also made of tempered glass like Corelle and pretty cheap at $0.89/piece. They're made in France.

        • @myisk: Received so much help! Thanks a lot, definitely going to check out.

        • @myisk: So true. I have both the corelle ones from Big W which I bought first and the Ikea ones, I bought later. They are both awesome and light weight and so similar and Ikea is so much cheaper. I only use the Ikea ones now.

Corelle Dinner Set 16pce is $59 compared to the one i posted which is $10.

Don't see where the bargain is when that is the regular price for the corelle

If money permitted i would be investing in a $200 dinner set

You certainly can afford a few hundred sets with so much referral $$$$.

I saw these at Big W last weekend. The quality appeared to be poor. Some plates did not have a perfect shape. They reminded me of factory rejects.
