  • I wish i could order MORE kinder buenos

    • +2

      create more account XD

      • I inadvertently got a second account when I paid using paypal. But, I think 24 Kinder Buenos is more than enough for me. :)

        • Yea, 24 is too much for me anyway :)

          48 sticks, 192 pieces…!
          wOW… :)

  • Ordered this and the Mentos great bargains!! :)

  • Yay, ordered all of them, but do you think I can have them tomorrow ? Im in Brisbane ^^

    • I doubt you will have them by tomorrow

  • I LOVE KINDER BUENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO +++++++

  • Fantastic. Purchased 24. Should be enough as it expires August 2010

  • epic :)

  • Hi guys,
This may seems weird - this is my first time to purchase on-line. Is this site safe? Why do they ask for my birthday?

    • Its safe bought heaps of stuff from them usual thing to enter your birth date when registering to these online stores.

      • Thanks Lazer!

  • I bought mine. How do they possibly do this when even at costco or cambells cash and carry they are more!!?!??!?!

    • Would that mean costco still make huge margin for some products?

      • Well they mark everything up by 10-15% but that's less then coles and woolies so it's still good.

  • +1

i don't think they would be in the best of condition where these may have been in different temperatures causing the chocolate to go whitish… wont affect the taste but just the appearance.

  • Holy damn, wish I could vote for this more than once! Mmm love these bars

  • I'm pretty sure I've seen these Buenos going for under a dollar at Target Bourke St, Melb for a while now.

    • How much is it exactly in Target? With the $6 for 12 one you get $0.50 each, I haven't seen the price as low as that in any store so far

  • +1

currently selling bueno bars for 20c each at my local K-Mart, use by date 2 weeks ago however. But I'm not fussy, picked up 10 yesterday for $2

    • If you get sick, i'm sure you could make that $2 back easy :)

    • which kmart?

    • this will make us all fatties :D

  • bought 1, with 2 month expiry 50c each, definitely a good deal

    thanks

  • Chocolates dont get bad for ages past the use by date. Talk to anyone who works in the confectionary industry.

  • Sold out

  • mmmm choccie, managed to get some today before it sold out… I love OzBargain heads up to deals :)

    • I hate it, It tells too many people and since i always check a lot of these sites on a daily basis, i sometimes end up missing out! ;), haha. Too many people know about Ozbargains and not enough stock for the deals, Wish they would get more stock already! :)

      • +3

I think this one was exclusive to Facebook only, Mr. GoodBargain discovered it through guessing the COTD link code. The lollipop and mentos ones were exclusive to OzBargain, wasn't listed on the main site or subscriptions, so only we could get it :)

But i know where you're coming from, even with about a hundred members, there's 1000 to 2000 leachers snagging the deals before the OzB members even get to read it.

They should have deals for registered users only!

        • Now THAT is a bonza idea!

  • Damn it! These are my favourite chocolates.

  • I bought these for 50c ea a month ago at this Go-Lo type store at my shopping centre. They had tonnes of Mars bars at the same price too.

  • Any idea when we'll receive this? I want my Kinder Bueno now!! Need energy to study for my exams…..

  • I purchased these at my local markets for $0.50 on sunday. The are delicious and despite it being one month until it expires, it has no white marks that appear to be on old chocolate.

  • Has anyones purchase in the processing status yet? myn still says Payment E-way, I am going overseas on Friday and was hoping to take a few on the plane with me :) but it might seem I might not get them before I leave…

  • Order Number: 1149***
    Courier: Australia Post
    Tracking Number: 8CB1149***
Date Ordered: Thursday 17 June, 2010
Date Dispatched: Monday 21 June, 2010

  • Myn is processing now :)

  • I just received mine but I got a note accompanying it saying the actual expiry date is 10 July 2010 and not August 2010 as advertised which means I have only slightly over two weeks to finish my chocolate bars.

They gave me 30 bars instead of 24 as compensation.

Not very impressed but what can you do.

    • -1

Just put them in the fridge, that should prolong the expiry date right?

  • +1

Received mine today as well, luckily only bought 12, and got 30 with July expiry date as compensation. Thanks COTD !! :D

    • what? i bought 24 and also got 30 with july expiry. does that mean that i paid $11 instead of $6 for no reason? that means i should get a partial refund

      • +1

Same here bought 24 and got 30 and expire in a few days. I am not happy at all, will not buy from COTD again

        • same here~bought 24 and got 30 expire date 10 Jul 10

      • me too….unfair

        • It is unfair, i thought you guys who bought 24 might get 2 x 30.

  • +2

will see if mine are waiting for me when i get home, but im gonna be peeved if those who paid for 2 boxes end up with the same as those who bought 1. spend more but get the same? that would be shit!

  • what the hell, so are they all july dated?
how did they manage to mix that up?
they better compensate me with 60 for the 24 i bought.

  • +1

damn, thats pretty crap, I missed out on this sale but i would feel really annoyed if people who bought half as much as i had got the same amount at the end of the day.

  • +1

What bullshit is this we paid for 24 and the people who only paid for 12 get the same amount for less $$$ argghh!

Its not the money but the principal of the matter they should of gave double extra to those who ordered double the amount…..

    • -5

Okay it's not like you got less than what you had asked. You ordered 24, paid for 24 and expected to get 24 right? You ended up getting 30, 6 more than what you had asked for. Yes it's true that those had ordered 12 got 18 extra but so what? The principle is, that you got more than what you had wanted - instead of complaining that you could've gotten it for half the price or double the amount for the same price, be grateful of the bonus and stop crying.

LOL this situation reminds me of a story I heard.

It is about a very farmer who needed extra workers on one particular day. So he went into down at 9am and saw a man looking for work. He told him come for on my lands for the day and ill pay you 20 gold coins. The worker agreed. Lunch time game and the wealthy farmer saw that he needed more workers so again went to town at 12pm and asked another man looking for work, "come work on my land for the day and ill pay you with 20 gold coins". Likewise the worker agreed. The afternoon came by and again the farmer needed a little more help. So at 4pm he went into town and offered 20 gold coins to a man looking for work. He agreed.

It was 7pm and the work was down and the farmer invited all the workers to have some dinner with him and get paid. He paid each worker 20 gold coins but in doing so the first worker come up to him and asked "why was it that I worked for the whole day and still i got paid the same amount as the last worker who only worked for 4 hours?" The farmer replied "I offered you a fair deal of in return of 20 gold coins that you would work for the land for a day. I decided to offer others a chance of this deal. You should not be concerned of what others got of my generousity. Instead know that you got to work and in return made a very good weeks wage in a day."

Moral: We already had a good deal from COTD. But compared to those that bought 12 instead of 24 it seems like we got ripped off because everyone ended up getting 30. BUT IT WAS STILL A GOOD DEAL! If you don't like the expiry date on the chocolates, send them back to COTD because of the typo. Else enjoy those bars before they expire!

    ps: I ordered 24.

    • +1

So are you sure COTD will take it back or is that just an assumption?

Actually maybe you are ok with that analogy but i dont know many people who would have gotten half as good a deal as the others would feel the same way.

      • -3

Either way, everyone who placed an order still got more than what they had asked. They should stop crying about not getting a "better" bonus.

    • That analogy is crap. We all bought under the same terms, expecting to get what we paid for. Some chose to buy more and pay more. Some decided to save their money, or perhaps they decided they couldn't consume more than 12 before the originally stated expiry date.

Really everyone should have got the same number of freebies on top of the expected. Yes, it was still a bargain but don't you see the irony? A bargain site where some of us got less of a bargain than others.

      • Dont worry about him, you will always find negative people like that on the forums. Some people just get a kick out of doing it online because they wont do it face to face. I think most of the people understand where you are coming from, I certainly do and i didnt order any at all.

  • I got mine today and have already eaten 2 ^_^

  • hehe oops, revoked my negative.
i just realised when i checked my email that they only ever charged me for 12 even though i remember ordering 24. =P
did this happen to anyone else?

    • Nope. Charged full amount. Maybe you ordered 2 but got the last 1 only? Dunno.

  • -1

havent got mine yet, the money doesnt bother me much, but the expiry date really does. IF this was more than 11 dollars, i could be actually bothered to go to the accc for misrepresentation. As it stands, you have lost a lot of the goodwill garnered on COTD from my previous experience.

  • -1

paid for 24 and received 30. the expiry date is too soon, not happy

  • Yep got mine today also ordered 24 got 30……….

  • I ordered 24 and got 30, but the expiry date is a lot sooner than I was expecting.

    A month earlier.

    what can I do?

    http://img338.imageshack.us/i/dscf0059jj.jpg/

I will not be ordering any more food from cotd.

  • +2

Got mine and extremely happy with the purchase (except the fact that it will make me heavier).

I don't know why the guys are complaining about the expiry date? It is a (best before) which is fine.

I will guess and say that these were made 3 years ago? are you able to tell the difference between 36 and 37 months in a such a product? I would also ask you to pleas check what you bu from supermarkets and petrol stations as a lot of items are actually past their use by date.

Again thanks for the extra COTD.

  • +3

My and my boyfriend both paid for 24 and both got 30 so if you're complaining that you have too many chocolates think of us, we now have 60! I'm happy, we got more than we paid for and chocolate doesn't just magically go off the day after the 'best before' date, I've eaten stuff that's a couple years past and it was fine. If you didn't know that those who paid for 12 got 30 then you'd still be happy so stop whining!

P.S if anyone has too much, feel free to send excess chocolate to me ;)

  • I missed out :'( I wish they have this again. I would've bought them!! :(
