Got Ipod Touch 32 GB Gen 3 for $341

Hi yesterday got an Ipod Touch 32 GB Gen 3 Australian stock from Officeworks after price match with emartaustralia.

Is this a good deal?

The best price I found apart from Emart was Landmark Computers for $374.

With Emart these guys are located in Melbourne Docklands, there website says $359 for Gen 2 Ipod Touch (which they said is a mistake and should be Gen 3 OW called and confirmed too).

Melbourne guys have an option to go to their store and pay in Docklands and than pick up from there warehouse in Port Melbourne. Other options are pay on the phone by credit card 1.75% surcharge or 2.5% for Paypal and $10 delivery for Australia wide delivery.

I thought this is a good enough deal. There are lots of deals going around for 8GB but nothing for 32 GB Gen 3 Australian stock. However, as I was not sure so I am posting it here.

Let me know what you guys think.

    During Christmas, iPod Touch 32GB massive price battle, from myer you could buy one for $369
    Then + Myer 10% Staff Discount (sister used to work there, so not my problem about disclosing policies)
    From Myer.. that was pretty cheap =]
    But for some reason, I only see 8GB models in stock there.. I haven't seen a 32gb or a 64gb model in stock at myer =\

      Thanks for sharing. I understand that Gen 3 Touch would benefit from release of OS4 once iPhone 4 is available.

      I could post the receipt, but would receipt from 16 June help you?

      On that note - emart has now revised there website to show Gen 3, but alas have also increased the price to $388. OW price is $379 so no price match I believe.

      Let me know what you want me to do. Also how do I post a receipt?

    I am sorry you can't use it.

    Well it is a surprise gift for my daugter's b'day.

    We will give it to her on Sunday. So no enjoying until then, only patient wait alas..
