The next-model-down, HR2357/06, which I own, is available for $209.20 before Cashrewards. That model makes 500 gram (not 600 gram), does not have auto-weigh, and does not come with the Chinese Noodle discs (for thin "angel hair" noodles and "kway tiao"-like noodles) that would set you back $29 if bought separately. For this reason, I recommend the higher-end model.

These noodle makers are very well built.

  • Used a cheaper version in the past and it was absolutely terrible to clean. Hope this one is better.

  • I have the next model down. It is a bit fiddlly to clean, but I reckon this one would be just as bad. It's fun throwing different spices in. On one lot of fettuccine, I used about 50% of the liquid as fish sauce. The raw noodles were very strong, but the cooked noddles quite mild. I've also thrown in saffron and other ground spices.

    • Do you leave it to dry and wipe? The flour just crumble and peel off.

      • Even in the discs? That's a good idea on the rest though, thanks.

  • +1

    bought one, thanks OP

  • oh no, seems to be sold out! :(

    • The lower-end model is in stock still, if you're desperate.

      • I have one already from a while back (didn't get it this cheap though) but am looking for one for my in laws :) Thanks anyway though! The auto weight is actually really convenient.
