Hi
We are looking at this and have been quoted $19,990 driveaway.

Is there room to negotiate further?

Thanks

Why buy new? This same car has been around for years. Most dated model in the market right now

    • Hopefully that means we can get a good deal :p

  • My folks are too fussy they would not consider a deal feom carsales unfortunately :(

    • Then let your folks go with the deal they're happy with.

      I can't say I like giving buying advice to a 3rd party.

If they like the price, they can buy it, if not they can negotiate harder or look for a demo

  • It was posted mid year in your state for $18,490.

  • I managed to negotiate mine for $17k driveaway, brand new 2015 model in March of 2015. Mine is a manual though

  • Yes you can always do better. Send some emails to dealers tell them a price say $18500 and you are ready to sign. Be specific on the car you want details. Also have a look at the Hyundai I30s there is a new model coming out and they are trying to off load their stock.

Lol if you can't even walk in and be ready to sign up at that price, or call with credit card ready, you won't be taken seriously.

Sensing a blanket email around town? Seriously?

  • Had a test drive for the i30 - that was my recommendation actually. But parents felt the lancer has more space on the back.
Under 20k is our budget. narrowed down to pulsar and lancer. WOuld have gone for baleno but 1.4L may not be most auitable as parenta drive atleast 100k everyday.

Happy to signup asap lol just got the coles 15months interest free card approved yesterday
