CLASSIC40

Got an email from KeySmart saying they are going to stop selling the standard sized KeySmart Classic due to not fitting most international keys.

So they are having 40% off all KeySmart Classic.

Says in email it's until end of month, not sure what time zone.

Also all KeySmarts now have a 2 year warranty.

Enjoy

  • Shipping is $5 USD to Brisbane

  • let me see if i got this right, its like a pocket knife but instead of useful tools each flip-out is a key?

    • One could say a key is a useful tool…

      • There's a crapload of china copies on ebay for <$5 shipped.

        • Yeah I remember getting my cheap knock off version off ebay for <$2 a couple of years ago. Still works fine

US $1.14 delivered from aliexpress for a very similar item

Unless they changed the design since I got one, the screw loosens every time you move the key. Ends up with accidents like losing all your keys on the motorway while riding your motorbike to work (as happened to a friend with one).

If looking for something similar, I'd suggest an Orbitkey.

Try loctite, it should be able to be undone using a soldering iron.

    • Yeah they fixed it.

  • Never had an issue with mine (knock on plywood)….Just may get another.

Not quite the same product, but I use and love this. It is cheaper too.

    • Interesting. It seems cheaper from here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Exotac-FREEKey-System-Easy-to-Use…

    • The big appeal of OPs item is to reduce size and number of things that can get caught on things or scratch things in your pocket.

The FreeKey is sort of the opposite of that. Makes it bigger and more ungainly. It's advantage is the ability to get keys on and off quickly and easily (something OPs thingo would be much worse than a real key ring for).
