Website for checking past prices

Hi wanting to buy an iPad Pro for my partners Xmas present.

Is there a website that I can check what the prices have been like over the past 6 months or so? Just getting ready to hit the buy button when a good deal comes up.

I have already used my Amex at Harvey Norman. Thanks

Thank you I couldn't remember what it was

  • no idea of a site, maybe pricehipster.

can I ask why the Pro, what Pro functions will they be using? And what size unit?
I have a 9.7 pro but I am positive I use zero Pro functions (whatever the pro functions are). I find it an OK tablet but some things I think are poor, onscreen keyboard is terrible, screen is OK. Battery life is no where near as good as I thought it would be - still long but not crazy long like I thought.

My wife has a Samsung S2, that thing is way better I think, battery, screen, speed.
Thats my opinion using two tablets we have. Both are 4G.

That is the one that she wants. Pure and simple. Personally I can't really see much difference between the pro and the version before it. She likes the way the photos move.

      • the way they move, thats not a pro version, isnt that just ios 10 thats on all ipads?
there are still normal ipads, the pro is not a replacement - it is meant to be for people that need the pro features like drawing with a stylus.

        • It is called Live Photos on the IPad Pro. I don't think it's worth the extra money. Just doing a search now to see if there is an app available that mirrors it

        • @twilsoncrow:
I will have a look, never noticed it on mine (I dont use it for photos at all)

        • Maybe she just wants a really big ipad?

        • @Bunnycat: I mentioned 9.7 and they said thats the one they want.

Get her the one she wants even if something else is cheaper or better. Trust me on this

  • Lol this reminds me of something.

last year when DJs had an IPAD pro sale on at $999 I went to various office works and got them to price beat with to $950. in total I bought 10 Ipad pros. I thought I would make a killing selling them at a profit. Then I got scammed for 3 ipad pros(Won't get into the details) and soon after that, I ended up returning the other 6 (I managed to sell 1 for $200 profit).

So yeah it's gone for as low as $999

    • sorry to hear you got scammed
