I wanna get RE 4 for PS4 as I haver it for Wii and GC but I am sure the PS4 will be amazing

I currently have RE4 + 5 + 6 for PS4 in a cart for OzGameShop. With the code TRUMP applied, RE4 is the same price, and their RE6 is even cheaper. If you are interested in them all it's worth a comparison.

My question is, I know NTSC games are supposed to work fine, but are there any surprise issues? I'm not interested in DLC (which seems to be the only consideration). Do patches work OK as well?

  I have some US games and they update when you pop the disc in or there is a new update. I also have an AU and US PS account. They all work fine
