As much as I love left wing propaganda outlets. I'll steer clear thanks.
So whats the alternative? The conservative outlets in Australia - Murdoch - are anti-intellectual, less evidence based.
Even the Guardian is still a much better read than most, despite the bleeding-heart left-wing viewpoint. They manage to separate facts from feelings.
Even though I find ABC's TV coverage/programming to be blatantly left leaning. I think their news coverage is about as close to balanced as you'll find in the country.

I like to think my subscription fee goes to the Adele Fergusons and Kate McClymonts, while the rubbish clickbait pays for itself. If there were more paying subscribers, they might've been able to keep more good investigative journalists like Michael West.
