Nespresso Creatista Plus $639.20 in DJ and Myer, Pricematch in HN to Get More Discount (HN Gift Card, AmEx Cashbacks)

I don't want to start a new deal because it's pricematch and AmEx offers. Hopefully it can help someone in the market for nespresso.

HN can match Myer or DJ price ($639.20). HN still gives you a $80 HN gift card (Valid for 24 months).

If you have AmEx HN cashback offers to use, you can reduce it by another $100 or $200.

On top of that you can get $70 back from Nespresso, or $95 back as coffee pods credit.

I just tested the machine at home. The steam wand is really good. Frothing becomes so easy and the milk foam is smooth and velvety, not as hard as what comes out from my aeroccino.

The espresso is not as good as my 6 years old Pixie, a bit less crema and slightly more watery, not sure why but the milk is so much better I am willing to overlook the tiny flaw.

Is it really worth that much for a pod machine?

    • It's more for convenience. Faster start-up, less cleaning after.

The cheaper nespresso models can be had for about $100-$150 on sale, but I reckon the the steam wand on this machine is worth the money I spent ($370 with a bonus $80 HN gift card).

This review compares Breville Oracle and Nespresso Creatista Plus. But the Oracle is $2000…

      • Breville Oracle isn't a pod machine and creates far better coffee.

        • Yes but that depends on coffee beans too.

Using the beans no doubt creates better coffee, but is usually more expensive (a good machine and good beans), takes longer, harder to clean, can't really have different flavours of coffee everyday, and I can never finish a bag of beans before it goes off.

Nespresso coffee is actually not that bad, A LOT of cafes in Brisbane make worse coffee.
