  same here….. seems, they advertised period over a month to travel but fares were ONLY distributed among certain days, which hard to find…. Feb. is the month I wanted to travel so could turned out to be a good deal but struggling finding single day…. 350 seats anyway, so won't last long I'm afraid !!

I know this is popular and most $9 are gone quickly. I'm wondering how can I book more than 1 ticket at a time ? there's no button for me to add another passenger with me (within budgetair.com / lastminute.com) etc. It's a bit frustrating. thanks for advice.

Too late … I give up on the Mel - Syd flights … the pricecharts show lots of $9 flights … but they are all not there and revert to around $80 one way. Normal fare.

  The pricechart is normally quite useful, but in this case the flights are selling out so fast that it is out of date (showing old prices) very quickly.
  
  For events like this we will have to reduce the timespan from "last 24 hours" to "last 10 minutes" or something like that.

No flights from Melbourne popping up on TigerAir's deals page, but I checked some flights from Melbourne during the sale period (May-June) and there were cheap flights to Hobart ($9 each way) and Cairns ($59 each way). I booked 2x Melbourne to Cairns return for $236. Try your luck!

Their website is behaving strangely. I'll select dates and it will come up with a sale price. But if I scroll across to different dates (or refresh the page) the sale price will go up to normal price. But if I refresh the page a few more times, it's back to sale price?
